Digital is just two feet tall and his younger brother is two inches shorter. And each one has a little dimple in his cheek which gives him a quizzical expression. Digital is forever focused and prefers to work alone with me, but tolerates Detox’s occasional interruptions to engage us in play. Detox, on the other hand, detests hard work and cannot get enough of playtime.
I have my computer set up so I can use it whenever I choose. Digital, however, keeps hounding me about how I have so little time that I just can’t afford to not use him. He is sort of cute – he is so little. He has an astounding memory and he is always finding ways to remind me that I have not checked my theory or focus. He has much more knowledge than I, and he enjoys reminding me that I need to search Wikipedia for further information. That is not all he does. He also likes to confuse me; he takes one of my sentences and bosses me about how I have not followed the rules of grammar. He does not like it at all when I end a sentence with a preposition.
There are times when I would prefer that Detox come and join us. But I know he would try to stop me from working with Digital and come rest and play with him. Digital would not be too happy about it. After all, I would get too far behind in my work and my emails would pile up causing me to feel overwhelmed. But Detox knows that sometimes I get weary and need to rest, but he would just rather have me find a little joke or talk with him and really not do any writing, which is all right with me. I receive so many messages on my smart phone that Digital says I must answer right away. But Detox sometimes helps me find ways to avoid answering them. Sometimes Digital and Detox give me a headache. They bicker back and forth about priorities.
It was necessary to seek my friend, Digital, to help me with finishing some work I started a while ago, but I had some trouble looking for the work I had done. Digital did not help me at all. In fact, I could not locate it on my computer. I think Digital was jealous because I spent so much time playing with Detox that he did not want me to find what I was looking for. There I go, ending a sentence with a preposition. Digital will not like that.
There isn’t much you can do with either one of them. They are both obstreperous and cause me to lose control. I don’t like the tug-of-war that goes on between them all the time. But regardless, I just can’t imagine my life without either one of them.

I know it's not perfect, but it creates a picture and builds suspense, then you could introduce the suspense. Overall, though this was really delightful. You nailed the topic in such a great way and I love learning new words like obstreperous. Congratulations on ranking 7th in your level. The highest rankings can be found on the message boards.
