Sometimes I look at heresies. I am curious about them. I feel brave and confident in my faith after many years in a Bible study church. Usually they are comical like the Da Vinci Code garbage. There have been so many from the beginning to now. There is a new book out claiming Jesus was a Roman invention- that He is made up. Yeah, right.
In my father’s day The Passover Plot was the big best seller of the day, saying Jesus’ story was a lie. Whatever weak faith he had, evaporated in a puff of older-and-wiser, know-it-all, self righteous bologna.
A guy on the History Channel says at the culmination of a show on ancient aliens, “There is no God, only ancient aliens.” And after an hour of amazing images, my faith is shaken. It’s a little disturbed. Curiosity can kill faith. Luckily I can shake my head like a wet dog and dislodge the rubbish. After all, this is a Jesus I know in heart and head. We may not know everything, nor be brilliant apologetics, but Jesus hangs on to us harder sometimes, despite our foolish curious, little peeks.

We see other people sin and say "I would never do that" but we have to be careful because we are all susceptible to the same sin.
Good article to warn us to keep our heads in God's word.
