Standing in the courtroom, again he takes no responsibility. He had been my husband but now I don’t
even know him. He had walked away from his family. How could he have done this to us? Having been
left to my own devices with two sick children, I was so scarred. Everything that he had destroyed, I
was left trying to repair. I've never had so much responsibility. I instantly had to provide financially,
emotionally, and spiritually for myself and my children. The exam had started.
Job was begging God for some respite. He had lost his wealth and children and he did not understand
why. He was suffering and in excruciating pain. So, Job did the only thing he knew to do, he cried out to
God. He never lost faith. This is how we are to react to the trials in our lives. We are never to lose faith
in our relationship with God.
It is said that God gives us test so that He can strengthen our faith and make us suitable for His purpose.
He is constantly examining our hearts and tests us so that we may grow as His children. The same way
we, as parents, do for our children. We want only the best for them. The same way our heavenly Father
desires the best for us. Sometimes we think that we can’t take it anymore, but God has promised that
He will not forsake us and as long as we turn to Him, He will provide us with everything we need. To
pass His exam, we just have to turn to Him. That is all He is wanting from us, to rely on Him.
God knew that I had a weakness. I relied on my husband to do what was God’s responsibility. I had
never fully put my trust in God to provide for my family; to provide the little things. Now He was testing
me; forcing me to call on Him for the little things.
I could question this test and ask, why, or I could look at it from the perspective that God
is trying to teach me to rely on Him and come to Him with all my needs. We will go through seasons in
this life that we will question everything and wonder if we will have the strength to endure and grow
from the experience. Remember that God is there for each of us and wants the best for us. Keep your
head held high, and know that God loves you so much that He has taken the time to set you apart for
His purpose. Today take the challenges that are in your life and turn to God for your strength and
endurance.
“God thank you for caring so much about me that you only want the best for me; thank you for each
exam that you send my way, because I know that you are only testing me to strengthen me for you
service, in Jesus name—Amen.”

I'm a bit confused if you were speaking from Job's wife's POV or your own. It would help to break it into paragraphs. Great thoughts!
