Topic: Expert (09/05/13)
The world is full of experts. It does not matter where you look there is an expert in some field. The worst area for the like of these unfortunately is the church. Very few of the saints we admire in the Bible where educated experts. Most of them were called by God to fulfil the ministry that he had given them.

But the world would have had them trained in a expert manner to take on the tasks that they were given. We look at David and Goliath and we see a young boy who had been tending sheep. But he wanted to see the battle that his brothers were engaged in. They were as indeed the army of Israel were, trained in the ways of war. And like all this army they were experts at it. As they all looked at this mighty man that came before them regularly to taunt them. They looked at him with an expert trained battle eye and they could see they were no match for him.

But David had not had such training and he looked at this giant with spiritual eyes and all he saw was a great big lumbering giant of a man who was an uncircumcised enemy. When he volunteered to take him on he was laughed at. Nobody else was willing to go up against him. But David had the anointing of the Lord upon him. He called the man for what he was and then went on to slay him. To say he confounded the experts was an understatement. God used him to show this Israelite army that he could use an untrained person to do his will.

In the Church today we have conferences run by experts in their field. Bible schools to do the same and so many courses the mind boggles. Come and learn how to defeat the devil and what it really takes is a heartfelt faith in the blood of Jesus and the use of that holy name. That can only be taught by the Holy Spirit. Now there is an expert who brings knowledge straight from the throne of Grace who teaches all things in spirit and in truth.

There is a lot of truth in this writing. (sorry to say)

This was easy to read and seemed to flow nicely.

For me it is harder to see where there is need for corrections when it seems an easy read.
