Although controversial, as some measure the middle of the Bible is Psalm 117, and there are many versions of the Bible, such as Catholic, Protestant and King James, it is believed if you measure the middle of the Bible, it lands on Psalm 118. Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the Bible, and after it Psalm 119 is the longest chapter. There are 594 chapters before and 594 after this middle verse. There are 31,174 verses in total, 15,587 plus 15,588. Psalm 118 verse 8 lies at the very center; it says “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.” That should signify it is a verse of some importance.
I’m no mathematician, nor numerologist, but there must be some magic in those amazing, special numbers.
