Previous Challenge Entry (Level 1 – Beginner)
Topic: rain (10/17/05)
“I went to work last week when it rain. The downpour started off on a Saturday and didn’t stop until that following Friday. I was shock! At what when on, with the rain, it truly rain for seven days straight. I ask myself! Why so much rain? I thought again! HUM! YES! Its Hurricane season, I actually pour thirteen and a half inches here in New York City.

I would never think this could happen; phones were down, a flood around my desk. Then I thought about Peter On the boat as Jesus was sleeping when the storm arrived. “BOY”!

Jesus had that true faith to walk on water. I had that true faith to come in to work. With water all over the floor, shutting down the doors and working in a flooded room until I was rescue. With the only things working was the cell phone and the computer, they kept a little radio at my boss’s desk for paging someone in the field. “For Help”

I receive the relief three hours later to go on the west side of town to work. At the Charles Dana Center I really enjoy a hot lunch a warm room with all the goodies. “You Know”! As a child expect.
What a flood you see alarms and things or going off who can handle that from 9:30 to 3:00 you see. Not ME!
But I learn that day to just walk by faith with Jesus watching over me."

Yeah, if we walk in faith even when wading in the waters of the flood Jesus reaches out for us. Have someone edit your work - you have a wonderful sense of story telling - a little help and your writing will go a long way.
