Topic: Anger (01/24/05)
The do's and Don'ts of anger.
The first question that comes to mind on anger is "Is it ever ok?" Are there times when anger is not just a destructive emotion? As always i look to the life of Jesus to see if he ever dealt with this one and of course we come upon the famous money changes in the temple scene. So yes Jesus showed righteous anger at the use of his fathers house,then what is the defining point in his anger, what sets it apart from the anger we feel? I supose the answer to that one is in how that anger effected Jesus, his actions and the emotions that follow it. So often we allow anger to go beyond its boundaries. Not only do we feel anger but as it fades resentment,condemnation or even guilt surface. The bible says " Do not let the sun go down on your anger" probally because God knew that the issues that anger brings up need to be speedilly address for it to be a healty one. There are of course a lot of unhealthy anger arisng from our own self esteem issues or rights and the difference between rightous and unrightous anger need to seen from the onset. If its a righteous anger it usually isnt concerning yourself but on behalf of another, such as in the example of Jesus. Unhealthy anger usually deals with us. Recognising that I will feel anger at times and defining the type of anger will utimately help me to deal with it. So I will finish with saying rather than denying this emotion with its negitive image look for its sourse and plan to use it. Anger- You rule it or it rules you.

You might want to consider spending a little time checking punctuation and spelling before you submit an entry; it will make your work even better.

hey kazza, i finally read it! good onya mate. now that the "anger" topic is past, im suddenly wondering if we both should've written something based on our personal experiences! (starts with "T" ends with "im"...)hmmm....
