Accused
A sister alone
Sneering
Shouldering folly

Anguish
A Father denied
Decayed
Imprudently erred

I am
Disdain
Mother of wounded

Her labour in vain

An icy winter

The vanquishing sun

For Vices grinding

The conscience of souls

The weak
Their sins scar my back

I set captives free

Hallowed
Gods' son forsaken

Arisen I Am

I am the naked
The widow distressed
The weeping disgraced, accused
I am the anguish, of disdain and futility
The remorse of a servant hallowed to God
Forsook for the righteous, I oppressed the abyss

I am the taker of trials of each man that beholds the giver of life that claimed sin.
I am the burdened transporter of strife to the pit, into the darkness I blazed.
I am the healer of failure, held in your soul, all you may think you are.
I am all things good, pleasant and true and with the rest
I emblazoned all hell.

Your words are a wonderful reminder of everything Jesus has taken on for each and everyone of us. I especially like the last few stanzas. He is our Glorious, Beautiful One!!!!

Wow what an intense and powerful piece this is. At first I couldn't see how it fit the topic but after reading it a few times I think I got it. This is a poignant poem.Well done.
