An outbreak of flu is not good.
This by all is well understood.
What happened in 1918
Was the worst outbreak ever seen.
A death toll worse than from the war,
Happened then from near and far.
Now outbreaks of other disease
We hear about on our TVs.
We hear of outbreaks on the news,
Caused by differing views,
Of insurrection and revolt,
To give our peace of mind a jolt.
Is an outbreak always bad?
Or could some benefit be had?
How about a kindness outbreak?
Good deeds done for your neighbors sake.
Courtesy is another way
That you can brighten someone’s day
An outbreak of witnessing could be
Very beneficial, you see.
To spread the word about God’s love
Would bring down blessings from above.
Besides, the Bible says we should.
To please the Lord is always good.
This certainly is worth a try
A challenge for you and I.
