Dear Diary:
Today, I was just a little nervous about an interview I had with The Manitou Post newspaper. They interviewed me about my latest Christian novel. I am afraid what a secular newspaper is going to say about me. This is what happened.
I sat down on my living room couch with the reporter Dawn Newman, who was a well respected reporter at the Post.
“I know your first name is Steve, but how do you spell your last name,” asked Dawn.
“It is spelled S-e-d-a-h-l,” as Steve spoke slowly.
Dawn looked down at her notes and looked back up and said, “How does a pastor at a big church like Parkview Baptist Church have time to write a Christian novel.”
“Well it is very simple, we have a big staff which handle’s the day to day operation. That gives me time to get into the word of God and to prepare sermons as well as wrote stories.”
Dawn listened intently to what the pastor said, “What are you trying to accomplish by writing novels?”
“I want to use drama to teach people how to live a Christ like life. My stories are about situations that happen every day. My hope that I can convict people about their sin and get them to change their lives and turn their hearts towards Jesus.”
“What is a day a life of a novel writer like when he puts pen to paper?” Asked Dawn.
Pastor scratched his head and said, “I like to get away to someplace quiet allows me to think. I am blessed because a member of our church lets me borrow their cabin. I like the scenery there is a creek down the hill from the cabin. There are mountains that are off in the distance by the creek. I usually get up at eight in the morning. I treat it like a regular work day at the office with exceptions. I make breakfast. Then I will go fly fishing in the creek or hiking in the summer. In the winter I will snow shoe. I especially like getting snowed in. I usually take a note pad with me and jot down notes. Then in the afternoon I will be on my computer writing. Then at five in the evening I make myself dinner and get ready for the next day.”
Dawn had this puzzled look on her face and asked, “Why do you like getting snowed in?"
“It makes me feel more isolated, I like that feeling. It also feels good that I don’t haft to commute very far in the snow. I can laugh at all those people who haft to sit in traffic for two hours and I don’t,” as the Pastor laughed.
“Thanks for being so thoughtful for the rest of us,” as Dawn teased the Pastor.
“I am just joking,” as he laughed.
“Wow! That’s amazing, you have had allot of accomplishments. I think our readers will like reading about what you go through to write a good novel. I hope you like the story I write,” as Dawn got up to leave.
“I look forward to reading it,” as pastor Steve got up and shook her hand.
Whew, dear diary I am glad that is over, I feel much better. Dawn seemed like a good person.

This was entertaining and I felt for you with the interview. Also loved the mountain cabin and I too, like being snowed in! Something cozy and warm about it.
Be sure to use a spell-checking program and or modify the one you have, to check for all grammar mistakes, as that's the only thing I could find needing a little tweaking :)
Minor red notes: change "allot" to "a lot" and "haft to" to "have to."
