Impossibilities

THEY said that the bumble bee was too heavy to fly. “His wings are too small, his body too wide.” But no one told him so he gave it a try.
Hmph! …I guess THEY were wrong!

THEY said that the airplane never would glide. “What silly ideas. They’re wasting their time.” But those foolish Wright Brothers went on and tried.
Hmph! …I guess THEY were wrong!

THEY said Jesse’s youngest was not the right one. “He’s a shepherd, no less, all red from the sun.” But God put David right up on that throne.
Hmph! …I guess THEY were wrong!

THEY said that a virgin would never give birth. “It just could not happen” were their exact words. But that’s how our Savior came to this earth.
Hmph! … I guess THEY were wrong!

THEY said He was dead and drove His followers away. “This Jesus He’s fake, no Savior, no way.” But then Jesus arose on the third day.
Hmph! …I guess THEY were wrong!

THEY said I was too bad. No good could be found. “Don’t bother with her. She’s too far gone.” But Jesus forgave, turned my life back around.
Hmph! … I guess THEY were wrong!

So don’t listen to THEM. THEY’LL steal your lifesong.
God has a plan and well … HE’S never wrong!
