When I see the color black I think of sin. Whereas black represents sin white represents being pure and holy.
White represents Jesus birth and resurrection. After all Jesus was the spotless lamb of God who died on the cross so that our sins.
In the Old Testament they would kill an animal to be a sacrifice for peoples sins. The animal had to be unblemished. White is the color that may have represented that animal.
In the Old Testament if you had that white spot on you skin the priest would separate you from other people for seven days.
In the book of Chronicles there were Levite musicians that were dressed in white linen.
In Matthew Jesus went up into the mountains His appearance changed and there was a bright light and his cloths became white as light.
Whenever I think of Jesus I think of him in a white garment
The angels wore white garments.
The most interesting thing I found is that a white horse represents victory.
If the Lord invented the color white to remind us that in Jesus we can become clean and whiter than snow.
