Is it because life is ‘really’ unfair?
Is it because it is the ‘only’ design of life available?
Is it because all there is to fight for is an unyielding and ‘fixed’ pattern?
I would have loved to see all people live in harmony and enjoy GOD’s blessed gift of peace; the young born into a happy world that at no time threatens their future; the old, growing towards the blessed end, live appreciated and cared for; and men and women stand for ONE common cause in life: at home, at work – wherever they may be found. Our summation would be a wonderful world, in which the lyrics of every song start and end with worship to the KING of Glory.
But the sweet babies…
Born as though of their own ignorant choices,
Of mothers dumped by their own lovers,
Of fathers who don’t deserve the title;
In communities where they are not accepted just the way they are,
Not accommodated… in the selfish corners of their own society,
No right, in practice, of belonging to a community of choice,
No right, in practice, of ownership of a reasonable personal portion of property….
But the sweet babies…
Grow up in selfish families, and become selfish themselves,
They steal because they… don’t have,
They kill because they… fear, they feel rejected,
They are enemies of life… their life itself,
Still making more…‘like’ babies;
Our new world now filled with the crop of hatred and violence,
Like today, with all manner of evil and…moral pollution.
But the sweet babies…
Now wondering about in tunnels of hopelessness,
Rejection inscribed in their every word, every thought in them,
Either running with stolen love; deprived of their own themselves;
Either spending uncountable moments behind bars of injustice…
Deprived of the right of innocence, jailed by a failed system;
Or living in fear of everything and everyone, by day or by night,
The rich yet richer; the poor yet poorer… selfishly.
Yes, but for the sweet babies…
One day, will stand one next to the other,
All but equal before the Maker;
And having to look back some day when:
One opportunity was given to each one,
To make the world a better place,
Only to be failed by a failing system;
Failing it ourselves, and ourselves failing.
But the sweet babies…?
Let there be light, let there be light;
Dark BLACK world, let there be light,
Let the sweet babies see the light of hope.
Hope for a better tomorrow, today.
Nothing more of black thoughts, in black or white skulls;
Nothing more of a failed life, by blacks or reds;
Once a BLACK world, then a lighted life.
In CHRIST, for ever….

You wrote a black picture well.
The words in all-caps were a bit distracting. Trust in the passion of your writing to give the emphasis, without having to shout it at your reader.
Well done, and right on topic.
