Topic: Childhood (09/03/09)
My weary eyes stared back at the monitor, my mouth widens with a loud yawn, fingers found a place within my plaited hair, hmmm... the scratch felt good. Maybe I might just turn off the system and head home, home... there is no place like home. Twenty years back, I had nothing to worry about. All I needed to do was to sleep, wake up, eat, watch T.V, go to school, sleep and wake up again.

Life was beautiful back then. My parents took care of things. Now, I am in their shoes, I have to take care of things. I wonder how they did it. It must have been tough, but I believe their faith in God held them and pushed them along the path of life. 'When there is life, there is always hope' someone said. Hmm... sometimes, I wish I could go back to the normal rountine; sleep, wake up, eat, watch T.V, go to school, sleep and wake up again.

I think we all feel this way sometimes. Life was so much easier (even though all we wanted to do was grow up!)when we were kids.

Oooh, I like the title, because I can indentify with that. I want to go back to when it wasn't all that complicated and things were simple like cartoons and breakfast cereal. Nice job!
