Winter melts away.
Daffodils adorn the hills
And cubs come out to play.
Among the trees a springtime breeze
Caresses budding green.
From within the earth, the season’s birth
Explodes upon the scene.
So the world comes back to life again,
Dissolving winter’s shrouded silence.
Springtime sunshine, springtime rain,
Refreshing the earth and renewing the hope in our lives
When springtime arrives.
Springtime walks and quiet talks,
Lilac-scented days;
Riding bikes and taking hikes;
Easter hymns of praise.
The season shifts; the winter lifts;
The icy rivers thaw.
Perpetuation of God’s creation
Inspires a springtime awe
As the world comes back to life again,
Dissolving winter’s shrouded silence.
Springtime sunshine, springtime rain,
Refreshing the earth and renewing the hope in our lives
When springtime arrives.
“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Gen. 8:22 (KJV)
