Do you have your passport to Heaven?
I don’t have one cause I’m only seven,
Why should you be allowed to go in?
Well I’ve been bad at times, is that sin?
Ms. Jones said that Jesus paid the price,
I think that is really kinda nice,
I asked Him into my heart like Ms. Jones said,
Always said my prayers as I climbed into bed.
Do you have your passport to Heaven?
Can I come back later; I’m only twenty-seven,
Why should you be allowed to go in?
I’ve been fighting my tendency to sin,
But only Jesus can give me a clean slate.
Can’t wait, and know it’ll be really great,
To worship our Heavenly Father, The Holy One,
To see my Big Brother, His only begotten Son.
Do you have your passport to Heaven?
Misplaced mine when I turned seventy-seven,
Why should you be allowed to go in?
I tried but could not control every sin,
Many have said that Jesus paid the price,
I think that is really more than nice,
I love Christ as much as I loved my wife,
I’m trusting Him to give me eternal life.
Stop any doubt, don’t even think twice,
Trust that Christ Jesus has paid the price,
Stand in front of the blue curtain and smile,
This passport will clean out your sin file.
This is important so do it right now,
Whatever you think don’t even wait awhile,
You and I’ve taken turns being a real dope,
It’s Jesus Blood that gives us any hope.
“Lord, Please forgive me for my sins,
You’re the passport thru which eternal life begins,
Come into my life and make me whole,
Help me love You with all my heart, mind and soul.”
See You in Heaven?
