Your Kingdom Come

Babies born; World war torn
Our Father
Christ is cursed; Self comes first
In Heaven
Marriages ending; Families blending
Hallowed be your name
Hearts broken; Hurts unspoken
Your Kingdom come
Women crying; Children dying
Your will be done
Terror reigning; Hope feigning
On earth as it is in heaven.
Material possessions; Become obsessions
Give us today our daily bread
Hate raised; Corruption praised
Forgive us our debts
Church bells ring; Worshippers sing
As we also have forgiven our debtors.
Prayer is spoken; Spirit awoken
And lead us not into temptation,
Angels deployed; Demons destroyed
But deliver us from the evil one.
Hearts wrent; Sinners repent
For yours is the Kingdom
Love proclaimed; In Jesus’ name
The Power and the Glory
Hope restored; Heavens’ reward
Forever and Ever
Eternal life; No more strife
Amen

Hi Charlene. Just wanted to leave a quick note to let you know your entry, "Your Kingdom Come," actually did very well in the Kingdom of God Challenge. Although you didn't receive an award, you made it into the Highest Rankings for Level 1, placing 12th in that Level. There were a lot of entries this week, and competition in Level 1 is always very intense, so well done.
