Bring rainbows of joy in my heart,
That unite in peaceful harmony with the holy Christmas night,
As my spirit worships the beautiful Savior.
Bright reds burn in the fiery love of God,
Fresh greens blossom in the gentle care of Jesus,
And icy blues melt in the warm touch of the Holy Spirit.
Tangy oranges spread heavenly fragrance,
Rosy pinks shower tiny drops of hope,
Immaculate whites cleanse the soul so pure,
Sunny yellows wipe away loads of burdens,
Glowing silvers declare sweet victory,
And, sparkling golds shine with abundant grace.
Blinking colors twinkling around my Christmas tree,
Tell a story of the promises of God,
As every flicker narrates with gladness:
The provision of every need according to His riches,
The guarantee of forgiveness,
The sufficiency of blessings,
The freedom from temptation,
The triumph over death,
And the assurance of eternal life.
