About a Maker and a baker.
They both would make their mark,
When Christmas came around.
The Maker could create,
And the baker would cremate,
They both would feed the people,
But no happiness was found.
For the baker always did his best,
To make the Christmas din,
But it never seemed to gain applause,
With all his closest kin.
They knew his food was awful,
But had no heart to say,
That they couldn’t eat it,
On this very merry day.
Now the Maker fed the people,
With the word of life and hope.
He gave them many recipes,
Of how in this life to cope.
But they walked away in sadness,
For they could not see.
Past the instant gratification,
That they needed to be free.
I guess the moral of this story,
Is with whom you put your trust?
Do you like the baker,
Whose food might taste like rust?
Or would you seek the One?
Who is the real earth shaker?
So now you need to make a choice,
