Topic: Christmas Tree (10/09/08)
Dream of the Christmas Tree with lights that twinkle against the multicolored glass balls and gold bells. Reminiscing of a movie where each crystal chime meant an angel received wings. Tinsel garland intermixes with garlands of fruitloops and green and red construction paper carefully folded and glued together by two giddy cherubs, who just may have ate more fruitloops then actually placed on the twine. The only light bestowing the room radiates from the constant reminder of the upcoming birthday party, sitting in the corner, yet the focal point of the entire sitting area. The Star upon the top signaling the journey of men to find the King in blind faith. Faith. Such a seemingly innocuous word, simple, but there has been an entire book written on such a word. Faith in our Father, faith in our Savior, that to trust…to have Faith shall steer mankind into eternal bliss. Underneath the tree is the nativity scene each piece reverently placed, awaiting the arrival of the blessed King to be born. No hint of presents for the moment must not be overshadowed by receiving, but only that of giving our homes, our time and our hearts to both those we know and keep dear, but also those of strangers whose story we have yet to learn. Aromas of baking cookies for decorating for nursing homes, police stations, firemen, mail persons and neighbors. Chili simmering in the crock pot for the nights supper. Fire in the hearth and love in the heart…gently dancing to the light sound of music proclaiming His glorious and gentle ways, cuddling my cherubs as they dance around my legs for their next turn. Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, how I long for those days to draw near.

Lovely, descriptive writing.

My only suggestion is that this may have rambled a bit. If you were to organize it into paragraphs, it might flow more smoothly.

This had an overall modd of serenity that was very appealing.

This was an enjoyable read!
The message held in a Christmas tree that Christmas is approaching.

Keep writing and practice separating the paragraphs. This will not only prevent your writing from running all together ---- Also, for the reader it is a much easier and enjoyable read.
