Here’s The Truth…

The truth is… That life is full of ups and downs, unfair circumstances, tragedies, hate, prejudices, broken relationships, disappointments, unfulfilled dreams and even death.

The truth is… That life very rarely turns out the way we planned it. It hands us a lot of challenges, unexpected U-turns and insurmountable trials that make eating sour lemons seem more like drinking a refreshing glass of sweet iced tea.

The truth is… That despite all the ups and downs, unfair circumstances, tragedies, hate, prejudices, broken relationships, disappointments, unfulfilled dreams and even death; we have a living Savior who died for our sins. Who wants to heal us and restore what the devil has destroyed in our lives.

The truth is… That despite life rarely turning out the way we planned. Despite that it seems to ultimately hand us more challenges, U-turns and insurmountable trials, more than it does joyful, pleasant experiences; Jesus still tells us that He CAN and WILL work ALL things out for our good. He will redeem the time, restore the years we’ve lost and cause our latter years to be better than our former. Turn the sour lemons dealt to us, into a refreshing fragrance of sweet lemonade.


Now I Dare You…

Despite the truth presented… I dare you to continue to believe the devils report? I dare you to believe his lies that tell you that it’s too late for your dreams to come to pass and that there is no hope for your future? I dare you to remain in mediocrity and not rise to a higher level in God? I dare you to not trust in God, His promises and continue to live miserable defeated lives?

Or I dare you to believe God’s report? I dare you to believe that God is a good God? That He’s bigger than anything the devil can throw at you. That He CAN and WILL turn all your negative, overwhelming circumstances around and make all things new again in your life. I dare you to believe that nothing is impossible to those (And that means you too!) who will put their trust in the true and living God? I dare you to believe that He can do more than you can ask or think? I dare you to believe that you are the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath? I dare to take God at His word and watch Him take your mess and turn it into a message?


Hmmm… Okay… Are you up for the challenge? Whose report will you believe?

Thanks for the reminder that the Devil will never whipser a good report in our ears, but that the Truth of Christ's grace can give us freedom and eternal happiness in Heaven!
