My biggest challenges in life have been my learning disabilities, and I also did not learn social etiquette.
My dad was a mechanical engineer, and was very good at math. It just so happens that math was one of my worst subjects. He tried to help, but he would always get angry with me. When I did not understand fast enough. It affected my other subjects as well. Maybe if they had a Sylvan Learning Center back then. Maybe I could of done better in school, and had a better relationship with my dad.
My mom bought dishes for me when I was a kid, that were suppose to be a wedding present. I am now 43 and if my mom would have taught me social skills maybe, I would of been married by now.
I was an only child and did not have very many friends when I was a kid. That made it hard for me to learn how to deal with people.
I have made many mistakes in life, and my only hope now is in the Lord. In Hebrews he it says, “He would never leave me or forsake me”. In Philippians it says, “The Lord will provide all my needs”. My prayer is that he stays true to his word, and that I can be a witness to other broken lives.
