I thought I knew what love was until I had my first grandchild. I will never forget seeing her for the very first time. Her tiny little face looked just like an angel. I remember how I could not hold back the tears as they poured down my face. They were not tears of sorrow but tears of joy. I could not help but wonder why God would so graciously choose to bless me like this and wondering what I had done to deserve such a beautiful gift in my life.

Although I had been saved for several years, I still had not forgotten where I had came from or what God had brought me out of. That day God was reminding me of how he had forgiven me through my grandchild. Not only that, but how the devil had to pay back one hundred fold for what he had stolen from me. You see, before I gave my heart and life to Jesus, this grandmother had three abortions.
Today I not only have one grandchild, but I have three.

I know that when I looked into my grandchild's face that day, I did not just see her, but I saw God. If God could do this for me then I know he can do it for anyone.

Psalm 105:8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word he commanded to a thousand generations.(KJV)
