That drove the nails in your hand,
It was my rebellion, that cried and
Said ,That I would never understand.
It was my sins that Pierced your side,
As you cried out to forgive me and you
Hung there and died.
It was my rejection that took your steps
To the cross, each one for me,
It was what kept your eyes on the suffering
Ahead, for you knew it would set me free.
You seem to know each name you carried
There,
And that all their sins would be washed away,
By the pain you would bare.
You knew many would never accept you, but
You still pressed on,
In the final words you spoke..Victory was Won.
Father forgive them, for they know not what they
Do,
Thank You Jesus, forgive me, it was my hands
That drove those nails into your hands too...
