The bus door opens and I run as fast as I can down the sidewalk, and up the ramp on to the platform. I get through the door, just in time before the operator closed the door.
Like I got to the train just in time, the Lord has come to my aid emotionally just in time, at various stages in my life.
My parents were in the process of ending their marriage. After work one day I went straight to my parents house to see if I could try to talk them into giving it one more chance. My attempt failed, I went home crying and upset. I had been home for a while, and Jeff a friend called from church about some church business. Just in time the Lord put someone across my path, of whom I could talk to about what just happened at my parents house.
This past Christmas was one of the hardest I have ever experienced in a long time, because I wanted to go see my family in Minnesota. The first Saturday in December I was involved in a ministry that I do work for. Feeling very sad I felt the need to talk to someone. I was thinking that maybe later that day I would call a prayer warier friend of mine Rick, and talk to him about what was going on. Just in Time both him and his wife showed up, and I could talk to them in person.
The Lord knows our hearts he knows when we sit down or stand up. He always is there to comfort us just in time.

For the 1st two paragraphs, you flip-flopped tenses a little bit until you settled into a comfortable past tense. This is perhaps a bit light on the topic...
I really liked the way you started with the bus example.
It may help you to find a challenge buddy to help with grammar and punctuation.
Good job...keep writing.
