A love that came from God above.
Strangers helped when saw a need
Expecting no rewards.
Children played and ran outside
With sticks as guns and swords.
There was a time of faith and trust
The common man was true and just.
The men were outside on the farm
And worked till darkness fell.
The women worked inside the home
And taught their daughters well.
This world’s become a scary place.
We lock our doors, just incase.
Thieves can steal and not get caught,
And killers are released.
People die and children vanish.
War will never cease.
This nation needs a wake up call
Before too long we’re gonna fall.
Schools aren’t safe and kids do drugs,
To evil they are drawn.
And unborn children have no chance
To see the light of dawn.
Hope is fading, fear is high
We can’t just let each day go by!
We need not hide, but join in faith
And speak what must be heard!
These people need to know the truth
We have to spread God’s word.
