A poor sinner, wretched and lost.
In redemption, You brought me back to be
A precious winner to You without cost!
Thank You, Living Water, flowing in my soul,
To me, nothing else will ever matter,
For You are my one and only goal.
My doubts, my pain, my hurt You scatter!
Grant me the beautiful gift of eternal life,
Touch my heart with the soothing peace of a dove.
Shield me from a world torn by chaos and strife,
Show me the way and the truth with boundless love.
You cleansed me, washing all my sins away,
Suffered willingly for me on the cross.
So, I will praise You each and every day,
Living by true faith, never at a loss.
Thank You for Your grace and let me heed Your word.
Strengthen me with the power of Your serenity,
And help me to live each day humbly, O Lord!
So that I may rejoice with You in Eternity!
