Franticly, I thumbed through Webster’s Dictionary, my Book of Thoughts, (writings of famous people), and the Bible with the largest print, in hopes of finding inspiration and a brilliant idea, “giggle”. My eyes had grown blurry, my thoughts all mixed up and traveling in several different directions. “Maybe I should just wait till next weeks challenge to submit something?” “When God led me here, surely he didn’t expect me to submit something every week?” Why was the pure pleasure of writing being replaced with perfection and competition?
But then, while taking a break from “Have To Do” thoughts, Our Dear Lord spoke to me in words from the Bible, that sat before me on the dinning room table. “And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new”. And He said, “Write for these words are faith full and true”. (Rev. 19:9 Rev. 22:4-6).
So here I am at the computer once again, submitting another humble offering and hoping you will enjoy it. It feels good to share these words with you, and this weeks writing challenge has helped me to grow. This is not the ending of a New Year story, but the beginning of a New Year for me. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature”. “The old things have passed away; Behold new things have come”.

In regards to your article, I would have liked to see you develop the theme of 'new'. Seems you ended it just as you could have started it.
