Keith, this was a lovely poem, but unfortunately at just 68 words, it was way under the minimum word count allowance and so was out of the running - which was a shame. A lot of newer members miss the word count limits in the guidelines for the Challenge, so you aren't alone (there are always quite a few each week). The minimum is 150 words and the maximum is 750. Love the way you interwove faith with the nitty-gritty of a mother's life. Phrases like 'vineyards of hope' are full of wondeful layers. (and not just because I like a good red wine!) I think of The Battle Hymn of the Republic and see 'grapes of wrath' becoming 'vinyards of hope.'
