"I can do all things.......I can do all things through....uh....I can do all things through Christ." "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!!!!!!!" "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I said these things out loud as I was driving to the college to take the test that could make me or break me in Nursing School. "I CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" "I Can, now how in the world am I going to do it through Christ, that just doesn't make sense....what if Christ doesn't want me to be a nurse?" I thought. "What if I had made a big mistake and I was supposed to do something else with my life?" "What if Christ doesn't want me to do this, what if I paid all of this money for nothing, and I can't really hear from God anyway?" "No, No, No"I corrected myself "I Can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," I screamed in my car as I drove.
"Dear Lord I know that you say in your word that I can do all things through you, and I dont understand it, but you said it so I must believe it!!!!" I repeated those words over and over in my head, "I can do, I can do, I can do, through Christ, through Christ I can.... He can..... He can." "God CAN do all things," this I believed with all of my heart. God can do all things.
I sat down at my desk.....my brain went blank as it often does. "Oh great," I thought, "how am I ....did I study enough?" "God help me remember".....then it came over me, He came over me.....peace, peace in my head, I understand....I got it!!!!!!! "He CAN, so I CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens me." My head was clear.
Later on during the day I was thinking about the days events, and trials. I knew I could be a nurse now, but more than that I knew that "I can do!" I had always felt like I can't, but I was wrong! I can because He can.....could it be confidence? Yes it is; confidence, with so much more......peace, no pressure.....He can!
