River of Life

Every river, whether great or small, must begin with a single drop of water. Then another and another. And with time, patience and distance, it builds as it grows…Inherently so does life…with each passing moment in time and each measurement of distance, the rivers’ character is defined.
As with growth in life…
And its’ beauty and splendor are held solely in the eye of the beholder; in their intrinsic ability to envision that which is beyond what is simply in front of them…
As is true vision in life…
At times, it is quiet, serene and magical in it’s simple beauty and calm…
As is peace in life…
And at times it’s rage overwhelms us, it’s unbridled power controlling our very being…
As is anger and passion in life…
It twist and it turns and it bends in unknown directions to unknown paths…
As does contemplation in life…
And along the way it provides the essence of living to all that surrounds it…
As does love in life…
And every river must ultimately come to an end. And it’s ending is implicitly defined by it’s beginnings, it’s bends and it’s journey…
As is life and the ending thereof…

I love the images and the rhythm you've created here. It's like a drum roll of prose with then a quarter beat followed. Very interesting and very good.

It took me a bit to get into, not because of the words but because of the spacing. Play around with giving us breaks and white space, helping the reader break up the phrases a little better, and helping our eyes not blend all the words. For instance, after the short phrases, put in an extra line break.

You've made very sharp use of words and by choosing how to display it you could really focus on these words even better.
