TITLE: The Vision of God | Previous Challenge Entry

Why would a being so complex, so complete as to be able to see ahead; see what is being accomplished, what is being built, what is being destroyed, care so much about His creatures, me and you? Read along with me:
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
The God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light.”
Besides speaking creation and all that goes into it into its very being, He could SEE. He knew all about us, even back then. He knew what we were capable of. Can anyone possibly wrap their mind around that?
“And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.”
Can we possibly turn our minds back to that very first day? The Lord God Himself was the one who orchestrated the plan for all of us. I personally think it would have been a wonderful thing if we could have stayed in the Garden of Eden. There would have been no rocks in our gardens. But The Lord God must have said to Himself “No – there must be more, and it will be good.” And so Our Creator went on with the firmament and the water, and the gathering together of the water to call them seas, and planting the grasses and the trees, seeing all He had done was good.
Then The Lord God hung the lights! Oh that really must have been something to see! I can’t see how He did it. (Well of course I can’t!) When I think of it, I feel very, very small. And God created the sea creatures, and wanted the waters to abound with an abundance of every living thing that moves, and God saw it was all good.
I wonder if God is weeping when He looks down and sees the World… what have we done? We haven’t been very good stewards have we? We have taken what He made that was good, and have made it bad. How can we possibly fix it? What would we have to do to put the world in order, if we could do such a thing?
When I think of such things, for me this is brick wall time. Really all you can do is pray. It sounds so simplistic, but really it is not because it shakes the very foundation of hell when we pray to our Lord.
Maybe He is coming back tomorrow or next week – I just feel so badly that we can’t return His world to Him as He had originally made it
“Then God said, ‘Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’”
So God put His vision into action; He made mankind and gave him free will but there is a tiny portion in all of us that knows right from wrong, good from bad; just a feeling of discomfort in our heads or our hearts that we need to listen to. It doesn’t mean that we will always choose the right and good way however, God also knows that. He is standing by. He has watched and possibly molded His vision as it continues on Earth to grow and expand, doing things I’m sure that make Him smile, possibly laugh out loud, shake His head with that feeling you get when your kids do something really special. He was the first and is the only Visionary that matters. We, you and I are His Vision. He has told us:
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
