After living more than thirty years in bustling southern California, I am now blessed to be a recent transplant to the beautiful hill country of Texas. I'm planting my roots deep and looking forward to the fruit to come.
I first began my venture in writing as a teenager, but took a hiatus of way too many years. Though during that time, I raised four children, whose lives are so intertwined with my heart, I can't imagine life without them. With my children now mostly grown (do they ever really grown up), my newest passion is my grand-daughter. Oh, the memories she stirs. I am eager to see all that will unfold in the months and years ahead.
Mostly, my writing is a sojourn with God. I find myself ever planted in Eden, glorying in its abundant and rich communion with the Almighty. Or, I am looking back, with longing. And the sojourn continues.
My writing experience covers a wide range, and most of it just for myself. Outside of that venue, however, I wrote and produced our church newsletter for four years, and have written several individual devotionals for the student ministries here. My most ambitious projects were at prayer devotional for expectant parents (inspired by the anticipation of my first grandchild) and a 31-Day Journaling Devotional.
