Author/illustrator First and foremost- I am a born again Christian- I adore the Lord. He is my first Love. He has granted me or gifted me the talents of my profession. Published works: 5 children's picture books. A painting of Princess Diana in a published UK book, Titled, Diana in Art. By Mem Mehmet. I started writing and illustrating professionally when I was 45. My first book was contracted in 1993 and published in 1995. It is called "For the love of Vincent" a picture book introducing children to the art of Vincent Van Gogh.12,000 were printed and sold in consecutive print runs and now it is only available in other languages. This and two others are sold and written in French,Korean, and Spanish. I also have painted numerous works of art, on canvas, paper, wooden furniture, and walls in the form of murals. My last book, callled, The Rainbow's Palette I self published. It is based on introducing children to the art of colour mixing using the Rainbow as the colour teacher.This book also has a song recorded on a CD which form the words for the book.
