The 2011 FaithWriters’ Conference is only four weeks away. That’s right – in 28 days, we’ll be gathering at the Holiday Inn in Livonia for fun, fellowship, food..oh, and some wonderful learning about the craft and business of writing.

One fun “extra” at the FaithWriters’ Conference is the book table. Part of what makes it special is that all the books (and other things for sale) are provided by a FaithWriters’ conference attendee (can you say “signed copies?”). It’s so much fun to look through the books of the lady sitting next to you at lunch, or that guy whose challenge piece you commented on last week. And, of course BUY the books. You’ll not only support the authors, but 10% of sales go to FaithWriters’ as well.

Along with FaithWriters’ anthologies from past years, I have it on pretty good authority that Lisa Mikitarian’s new book, Her Safari, will be there. I’m sure there will be a Peculiar People project book or two as well, not to mention extra manuals to supplement some of the workshops offered at the conference. And much, much more. Bring your checks and cash.
