Precious Gift

Quietly, I stand and watch as she sleeps.
Such Peace this rest displays.
Lord, how this precious gift has made my life so rich.
She has given me the strength to succeed.
Her love is unconditional and forever.
When my heart and mind are weary the thoughts of her encourage me
and give me the wisdom to be still and seek you Lord.
You God, have set me on this path.
I travel this journey with her by my side.
I thank you Lord everyday that you created her for me.
Thank you that I forever belong to her and she belongs to me.
We will continue to grow together.
I will pray for her and she will pray for me.
This bond between mother and child can never be broken.
You Father, have created and ordained this relationship.
For this gift alone Almighty God , You are worthy of all praise.
Thank you Lord, for my precious Mother.
Please, hold and keep her in your arms.
Help me Lord, to respect and honor her.
Help me to listen and learn from her knowledge and wisdom.
Allow me everday to remember what a special gift You have given me.
