Out in the back yard the other day,
there was a sure sign of spring;
leaves of green, and buds ready to burst,
can't wait to see the flowers they bring...

That's the way I see each new day,
so happy I'll be spending it with you;
and wondering what new things I'll find
among all we say and do...

I know I'll spend the very first part
thanking God for this day so new;
and my heart will overflow from the start,
wanting to sing out how much I LOVE YOU!!

The sunshine pours its light in the windows,
God pours out His blessings on me;
and I will gather up all my love,
to give to you, for you set my heart free!!

You fill me with new joy every day,
each hour so normal, yet fresh and new;
and I will find more brand new ways
to tell how much I LOVE YOU!!!

I wait for the flowers in the back yard
to show their colors and scents;
you make my heart bloom every day,
with a love that is heaven sent...

There is such a wonder in seeing new plants,
their life and growth come from above;
and God also brought you and I together,
to share in our wonderful love...

Words alone can never hold enough,
to say what I really want them to;
to shout to the heavens and all around,
of how very much I LOVE YOU!!!
