When I start to worry,
When cares cause me to frown;
My troubles they are many..
My spirit is cast-down.
I tend to try to handle things
Beyond my control
Just holding on to problems
When the Spirit say “Let go,
God’s got it.”

God’s got it.
I know that He is in control.
God’s got it.
Trust in Him to keep your soul.
Whatever we may face,
Or where-ever we may go,
We rest in His promise,
And believe that it is so:
God’s got it!

Standing here now
With empty, useless hands
Plans in seeming peril,
Trying hard to understand.
We are told to trust, obey,
Though evils ways are flaunted
This day, too, is in His hands
And while it’s not what we wanted….
God’s got it.

God’s got it.
We have no need to fear.
God’s got it.
He is always standing near.
Nothing can happen
Without His command;
He works in ways
We may never understand.
This day, too, is part of His plan.
God’s got it!
