Feeling empty inside my heart
The week I've faced
Tore deep in my soul
Feeling lonely, abandoned
My life on hold

I faced the pain
Reliving it all
A friend leaving this world
Taking his own life
Just one year ago

Seems no one cares
To send me a note
Or to pick up the phone
Just to let me know
I'm not facing it alone

When I feel disappointment
From all those I know
When I feel no one cares
There is always that one
And He's always there

I turn to God
For He is my lifeline
When all else fails
This week has been rough
But His love still prevails
