There are days when we feel like giving up. It may be a matter of trials coming our way but there is a word for the day: Look to the Rock from which you were cut. If you read about the war between David and Goliath you will realise that David looked to the Rock he trusted and He did not disappoint. Even Samuel chose to set up a Rock between Mizpah and Jeshanah because he knew that the Rock would be a stone of help. No matter the situation you may be facing, always fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of you faith. He is faithful to take you to your destination. Remember the Bible tells us that upon the Rock will the Church and the Christian be founded and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Jesus is our Rock and that being the case, there is no weapon forged against you that will prosper. In times when the world is facing severe trials, look to the One that can help you. There is a false Gospel that says we can do it on our own, but the true Gospel says, I can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives me strength. I can only accomplish all things through Him who has done it before. So my brothers and sisters, be of good courage and know that Jehovah God has set your feet upon the Rock that will not slip and that Rock will be an anchor as you face each day. Be blessed as you remain grounded upon the Rock of Ages.
