Marriage

I came upon a little brook
with stepping-stones inside
and each one said to 'follow me'
to get to the other side.

I stepped across, only to see
a woods so thick and green,
with flowers lining a small little path,
the prettiest I'd ever seen.

I took the path into the wood,
the flowers waving me on my way,
and I just knew that at the end,
a treasure would be mine this day!

The woods gave way to a green meadow,
the sun shone bright above,
and there you were, right in the center,
and my heart said 'this is my love!'

You took my hand, and with it my heart,
we'd be always together I just knew
for God had led me to this place
just so I could say how much I LOVE YOU!!

Now we explore our world together
where you are, I want to be,
and hand in hand our journey of joy
happiness is all I can see!

Can I ever thank God enough
for making my life brand new?
No, but I can spend it in blissful happiness,
Just showing how much I LOVE YOU!!
