I want to write a letter
To say I still think of you,
I should have known better,
You see, my hands are tied.

I sit and pick up the pen
But the words just won’t come.
I’ll give you a call then,
It’s better to talk, anyway.

But what am I to say?
There is an awkward silence.
All my words have fled away
And now the call is over.

I long to tell you how I feel,
But it’s all trapped inside.
I long to break the iron seal,
Do you know I love you?
