Some people say that they have faith,
Yet their faith may be dead;
Although they sing and shout out loud
Still in God's Word it's said ...

That faith is truly being sure
Of things for which we hope;
Yet many say if they can't see
There's no way they can cope.

But God our Father tells us
That all the faith we need;
Is a small amount the size of
A tiny mustard seed.

We must learn to believe in things
That human eyes can't see;
If heaven's the place our hearts are
Truly longing to be.

It's by grace we're saved through faith,
It's written in God's Word;
Yet some go right on pretending
As if they've never heard.

The very faith that saves us is
A gift from God above;
And we're not saved by our works
But by our Father's love.

Saved by His grace and not our works
Removes all room to boast;
And although we love our Father
Still - He loves us the most.
