1. AWAKE AND ENTER THE DAY WITH PRAYER:
Express gratitude for the gift of life and pray intensely for guidance and direction throughout the day. Pray that you will be able to see God in everything and that you will have full knowledge of His presence. Pray that you will have a prosperous journey through the day and that you will not miss an opportunity to exalt God this day. Ask God to help you stay focused on him that you may follow Him closely throughout the day so your attitude and actions will be pleasing to him. Ask Him to remove all barriers that might distract you so you can give yourself totally to Him.
2. SPEND TIME READING AND MEDITATING ON GOD'S WORD
Allow God’s word to cleanse your heart from the load of cares and frustrations. Open your heart to a deeper understanding of God through His Word. Ask Him to strip away any pride and unselfishness you may be harboring so that you may experience the intimacy He desires to have with you. Know that deep within you is an inner chamber, a place that only God Himself can fill. Invite him to take His rightful place. Close your eyes and listen to His voice as He speaks to you.
3. HAVE AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE:
Express gratitude for God’s faithfulness to you and the security He provides. Thank Him sincerely that He has made you for Himself with a longing for Him, and that your restless heart will only be at peace when you are in His presence. Thank God that His Spirit on the inside of you is greater than any force on the outside. Thank Him for victory over all your circumstances through Christ Jesus.
4. WITNESS TO OTHERS ABOUT JESUS
Make known to others the reality of knowing God and that He is real. Share the joy and beauty of your life with God and the hope He brings to us all. Declare God’s unfailing love for mankind, and how that love was manifested. Tell someone that behind every promise and behind every prayer God is there. Make known that God specializes in befriending the friendless, and restoring hope to the hopeless. That He repairs broken lives and broken dreams, and give new beginnings. Be a witness that Christ came to show us what God is like and that He is knowable through His son Jesus.
5. SPEAK THE LANGUAGE OF PRAISE:
Tell God how wonderful He is, that His ways are pass our finding out. Praise God for His mighty works in the lives of His people and that His name is above every name. Exalt the name of God and give Him His worth. Sing of His lovingkindness and tender mercies and that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Praise God that He is patient and long-suffering, that He is rich in mercy and grace and that His love knows no limit. Tell God that He is marvelous in your eyes. Lift up a high praise to Jesus because He is holy, just, righteous, loving and true. Say “Yes” to God, to His Word and to His will. Rejoice in Him and experience the beauty He gives.
6. REACH OUT AND SHOW GOD’S LOVE TO SOMEONE:
Give a silent smile, a warm handshake, a pat on the back or a tender nudge. Seek someone who have a need or who is hurting and show God’s love. Give a voice and speak from your heart and let others know Jesus loves them. Express how real His love is to you and how you are substained by it. Give hands and feet to God’s love and give of yourself by investing in the life of another in Christ’s honor.
7. REST IN GOD’S PEACE:
Create an environment of calmness and serenity. Submit to the Lordship of Christ as you sit at His feet. Yield your will to him and seek to draw closer as you worship Him and enjoy His presence. Be blameless, pure and without fault that your life might shine as a beacon of light. Be at home in the presence of God and bask in His wonder and majesty. Relax in His comfort and the security He gives.
8. BE JOYFUL IN THE LORD:
Appropriate the fullness of joy Christ‘s presence brings and illuminate the environment where you are. Share your hope that no matter the circumstances you can rejoice because of who Christ is to you. Declare victory over life’s challenges and rejoice forevermore. Be free and allow yourself to fully enjoy the relationship you share together. Let your cup be filled to overflowing.
9.DRAW FROM THE SOURCE:
Be courageous and walk in victory as Christ walks beside you. Reflect on the reality that he controls all our circumstances. Feel His strength surging through your body, mind and spirit. Allow Christ to satisfy your thirsty soul and be renewed. Be confident that all is well because Christ in you is greater than anything that can come against you. Release all fear and all doubt as you draw from the well of living water. Open yourself to His cleansing and invite Him to transform you as you hang out with Him for the day.
