You see, theres a right way and a wrong way to love and praise yourself. God tells us to love ourselves but not in the respect that we become the center of our worship instead of allowing God to remain the center of attention. “I love me because God loves me. I love me because I’m God’s creation. I love me because I’m His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus...” God knew how to straighten all of this out when He said, “Love Me first, with ALL your heart, with ALL your mind, with ALL you soul.” When you’re giving your ALL to God in love and worship, when you’re praising Him Who is IN you---oh, I don’t think you heard me. When you finally get to the ‘me’ part of you, you’ve already given your self to God so that your worship then has gotten “off-center” and you’re totally focused on THE God Who is the true Center of your desire to worship.” Amen! Hallelujah!

You know what? God didn’t even stop there with the first command. He said, “Love me first with all your heart, your soul and your might, but then, love your neighbor too, as you love yourself.” So, by the time you get around to self in this Godly equation, your mind and your heart has been changed and re-arranged by the power of Love Himself, Who has enabled you to see through His eyes of HIS love. When you begin seeing through His eyes, you can see clearly that you didn‘t and don’t have a right to seat yourself on a throne of worship where you don‘t belong. Are you listening?

This is exactly what Satan did. Since he couldn’t ascend above God and receive worship, he seated himself on a throne of worship in his heart and worshiped himself. Ever since then, he’s influenced all people to worship the ‘god of self.’ Influencing them to seat themselves on the throne of self-worship in their hearts.

After thousands of years, Satan is still telling people, the saved as well as the unsaved that they can be their own god and not have to answer to anyone but themselves. And people are still buying the lie. “There is a way that seems right unto a man; but the end thereof is death (destruction).” Because of the devil’s lie that apeals to the carnal man, many people are deceived and tend to give God lip-service in worship, but “their heart is far from Him.” This is just mere religious motion---a form of godliness but it has no power. True worship of God is of the heart and there are a company of people from all over the globe who do have a heart of worship toward God.

We’re living in an hour of the Church today where we can’t afford to continue worshiping the ‘god of self.’ We’ve got to tear down those thrones. We’ve got to pull down those strongholds of the devil and destroy those altars that we’ve so carefully built in worship to ourselves because we “think of ourselves more highly than we ought to...” (Romans 12:3). We’re at a place today where we’ve got to build altars of worship unto the most high God and put ourselves on His altar as a living sacrifice (Roms.12:1-2) and say, “God, whatever is in me that’s not of you, kill it!” You’ve got to allow God to strike the match under that altar; because even though you may get up on the altar, you’ll never strike the match to burn up the flesh (carnality).

We’ve got too many people all nice and comfortable in the church today still hanging on to the fleshly things of yesterday and wanting to move in the anointing of spiritual gifts at the same time. In the meantime, so many church’s dare to wonder why they’re “powerless.” People all over are crying for God to pour out His glory, but if God poured out His glory on many church bodies in their present condition, His glory would consume them because of sin still clinging to their lives. So, what’s the answer for all churches and all Christian’s?
1-Repentance (II Chronicles 7:14).
2-Living a lifestyle of holiness because God said, “Be holy as I am holy.”
3-Allowing the Holy Spirit to prepare you for the manifest glory and presence of almighty God.

A PEOPLE SOLD OUT TO GOD:
==============================
God is calling the Church, in this hour, to become a people that’s totally sold out to Him in every way. God is looking for a people who are totally committed to Him and whose hearts are full of passion for Jesus and His Word. God’s looking for a people who have had their hearts set on fire by the Holy Ghost and who are ablaze with a passion to worship God in Spirit and in truth. In order to be this kind of a people, we must continually asked to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and then be not afraid to boldly declare that Jesus Chrisat is Lord. To boldly proclaim that there is no other God but the one true God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

We must not hesitate to look inside our hearts asking and trusting God to show us the truth (and He will), even if it causes pain and discomfort for a season. Season’s come but they do end, then another one begins. Through the eyes of truth and faith, we’ve must be able to see only ONE who sits on the throne of our life and that’s the Lord Jesus Christ! It’s imparative that God’s people become prepared in righteousness, purity and holiness as the Bride of Christ because Jesus is soon to sound the trumpet, signaling His return to earth.

MAKING SURE TO BE READY:

My friend, if you’re not saved, I have to ask, do you want to be ready to be caught up to meet Jesus when He comes again? Regardless of whether you go to meet Jesus by way of the grave, or through the “catching away” of the Church, you must still answer the most important question you will ever be asked. Do you want to be ready to meet Jesus?

If your answer to that question is yes, then it’s time for you to get serious with God, the One Who created you. He loves you more than anyone on earth can ever help you to understand. The depth, the height, the breadth, and the width of God’s love for you is immeasurable because limitless and unconditional. You just have to believe and accept by faith the truth that God loves you. You are His creation, every intricate part of you was knitted and formed while you were still in your mother’s womb by a loving God (Psalm 139).

He knows you inside and out-----better than you know yourself. He knows everything about you, past and present and future. He knows the good things and the not so good things abou you but regardless of whatever sins you’ve committed, God still loves you. He hasn’t and He doesn’t love the sin, but you’re His creation and He loves you with an everlasting love. If you’re ready now to be serious with God and accept His love and His free gift of salvation (Eph.2:8--Roms.10:9-10), then pray the following prayer outloud and mean it from your heart.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I don’t understand why you love me so much but right now, I believe you love me and I accept your love into my heart (Roms.5:5--Eph.1:6). I am sorry for my sins and I confess that I’m a sinner and I can’t save myself. I repent of sin and I ask you, Jesus to forgive me of all sin and wash me clean with your blood.

I believe that you’re the Son of God. I believe that you died on the cross for me, you were buried and you rose from the dead. Come into my heart and save me now. I asked you to fill me with your precious Holy Spirit and empower me to live the rest of my life in a pleasing manner that brings glory to you. I renounce the past and I declare that satan is no longer my god. I declare instead that Jesus Christ is my Lord and my God from this day forward. Thank you, Jesus, for coming into my heart. I declare this day that I am saved! Amen”

Romans 10:10, “For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Just as this Scripture plainly says, now that you’re a born again Christian, you need to confess Jesus as your Lord publicly. You need to pick up the phone and tell your family and friends, “I’m saved! I just gave my heart to Jesus Christ.” Tell your neighbor. Regardless of who, you need to confess Jesus openly in order to validate your salvation. Now that you’re saved, you need to read the Bible and allow God to speak to you personally through the voice of His Holy Spirit. He will reveal Jesus to you through the Scriptures.

Start with the book of John---the 4th book of the gospels. You need to pray everyday because God wants to hear your voice of praise and thanksgiving. Plus, He wants to speak to you as well. It’s called communication. God is a communicater. He’s not silent as a lot of people think. You also need to find you a Bible-believing/practicing, present-truth, Holy Spirit empowered church to help encourage you on your journey with Jesus. Also, surround yourself with other believers who can help to keep you on the path of life and going in the right direction. And rejoice! Because your name is written down in the Lamb’s book of life. Hallelujah!

ANXIOUS FOR HIS RETURN:

Many people today are at a crossroads of decision but there’s only ONE way, one direction to choose. Choose God’s way---choose life (Deut.30:19). I encourage all people to get serious with God because Jesus is about ready to step out on clouds of glory to come back to this earth. He’s coming back for a people who are anxious for His return. The question is, how anxious are we for Jesus to come again? Signs of the times that Jesus spoke to the disciples about in Matthew chapter 24 are everywhere to indicate that He is soon to return. “War’s and rumor’s of wars, famine, pestilence, kingdom rising against kingdom...” There is no mistake that we’re seeing these things today and hearing about them in the news. We are to discern the signs of the times according to what He told us in His Word.

The hour for that great event, the Lord’s return, no man knows except the Father in heaven but the time of His appearing is getting closer and closer with every tick of the clock. That means, the Bride of Christ must seriously be about the business of making herself ready. Again, she must allow the Holy Spirit, the Sanctifier, the Refinier to prepare her in righteousness, purity and holiness. She needs to be expectant, anxiously running to the window, as it were, every few minutes to see if this could be the time when the Bridegroom will come.

She needs to come to the place where her heart is yearning for His return and wondering, could this be the hour? Could this be the moment? Yes, the Bridegroom, Jesus could come at any moment. The question is, is the Church ready for their hour of His visitation? Before Jesus comes back FOR His Bride, He’s coming TO the Church.We say we want Jesus to come, but do we? When He begins to come in all of His glorious fire, we say, “No! Jesus, the heat is too intense! Not yet, Jesus! Maybe later.” He wants to come into our midst now but we’ve got to make up our minds, do we or do we not want Him to come? Even knowing at the same time that when He does, though it will be glorious, it will also be most uncomfortable because He‘s going to do some changing and rearranging in our lives? I say, let the Church proclaim a resounding “YES, Jesus. Come now and transform us with your glory!”

Jesus is coming again very soon to gather up the Church to meet Him in the air but until that day, we, the Church, individually and corporately have some things to do first. Jesus said, “Occupy until I come.” We’ve got to captitalize on the window of opportunity we have today to bring as many people as possible to salvation so they too can be ready for the return of the Lord Jesus. According to the Great Commission, bringing people to Christ is the responsibility of every born again Christian. We’re responsible to reach out to those around us who are lost and who need Jesus. This is no time for sitting back and whinning, “I can’t” and letting somebody else do What Jesus has called YOU to do. It’s time for the Church to BE in unity (Ps.133:1-3) and have “a mind to work” together, shoulder to shoulder “without breaking rank” for the rule and reign of the Kingdom of God to be established in the earth. Amen!

We’ve ALL been given the Great Commission by Jesus Himself, to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God, to heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, etc. So, we have no excuse. It’s time to get up and shake ourselves out of slumber. If we don’t, then God will come along and shake us out of our confort zones and get us moving in the right direction. In light of that, again I say, let us recognize and discern the time and season we’re in and get busy being about Father God’s Kingdom business, instead of being busy about everybody else’s business. Amen. Thats the one thing we DON’T have time for.
