Family Members
With our family we sometimes fight
We know in our hearts it is not right
With our mouth we hurt their mind
Saying bad words that are not kind
When we yell we lose control
They don’t listen or move to slow
Tired of saying the same old thing
If they don’t listen the hand will swing
What if that member up and dies
Would you be one of those that cries?
Would you wish now in your mind
That you had never been unkind?
How precious is this life we live
Each of us have so much to give
Please don’t let anger win the fight
Learn to walk in Love’s pure light
