Last night as I sat all alone,
depression hit my soul.
A pity party just for me,
that got out of control.

Then through my tears I heard a voice,
that said “it’s time to pray,
so rise up from your pity pot
and wipe those tears away”,

“Pray for peace around the world
from Iraq to Brazil,
Afghanistan and every land,
according to my will”,

“Then as you pray My Will be done,
you’ll see how much I care
and don’t forget how it began,
it started with a prayer.”
