If two fleas were on a bald head like mine, they would be called
homeless.

The special hi-tech battery in my motorized scooter is only 6x8x4
inches and yet it will run the scooter for 8 to 10 miles on one full
charge. That's twice around Disney World. It packs a real wallop.

My Bible is 6x9x2 inches, and it also packs a wallop, although a
different kind. In Hebrews 4:12 (nlt), we read: "For the Word of
God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife,
cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us
for what we really are." O wow -- that's powerful!

We are not only under God's microscope, but we are under the
world's microscope as well. Being a Christian carries with it a
pretty hefty obligation to really be what we claim to be. I guess
you can say that Christianity is a demanding faith that requires
some courage. I hope we are all up to the challenge. If you aren't,
get your daily wallop from The Word.
