Extreme turmoil,
Utter confusion,
The burdens of life weighing you down.
Constant pain,
Struggling to gain,
Looks like circumstances won’t turn around.

Hopeless outlook,
Abandoned and forsook,
Seems like no one understands.
Overwhelming,
Mission compelling,
Need an outstretched hand.

Made mistakes,
Trusted “snakes,”
Made a turn that’s “out of bounds.”
Willing and wanting a mind that’s sound.


Gave life to Christ --
The Perfect Sacrifice,
For all the wrongs you’ve done.
Realizing He’s the only One
Who gives peace in a raging storm.

Father of Love,
Gift from Above --
Above all you see and feel.
Prince of Peace,
Jesus, the Lord,
He’s the One who heals.

Though you’ve been through much,
God sends a calming touch --
A calming in your soul.
Life’s purpose begins to unfold.

A child of the King,
An Ambassador for Christ,
To reach the lost and confused.
A Christian who is entirely used --
Used to bring love,
Used to bring peace,
Used by God to have power unleashed.

Bring calmness to a troubled mind,
Rest in Jesus,
Peace in God --
The only peace for humankind.
