Racist: I’d rather dine with turpentine, I’d rather sup with glue. I’d rather spit into the eye of a gorilla from Kalamazoo. I’d rather jump into a bottomless hole or perch atop a hundred foot pole or even box 5 rounds with a troll then have any dealings with you! I do hope you understand what I mean, I’d rather face a guillotine and regurgitate a lean cuisine while driving across town in a lima bean then face the horror of being seen with a person of your certain sheen. To me the logic of my thoughts are clear and while perchance I have you ear I’d rather kick you in the rear then to ever reappear anywhere remotely near YOU!

Okay, I don't quite get this. Are you against racism? Or are you the racist? I'm not trying to challenge you, for I am not, nor have ever been racist in any way, having been brought up by a mother who taught me to see people, not race. There are good people of every race, just as there are bad people of every race. I only distinguish between these two facts, which have absolutely nothing to do with race. And even then I've been known to be wrong after making a mistaken assumption of another. Divide this up, if it is a poem, with a few line breaks to allow for thought between each line. Racism is horrible, in my humble opinion, and I am assuming also in yours. Beth
I re-read this, and I think I get it now. Obviously someone has dealt with you badly because of your race. I'm sorry. There will always be people who just don't get it and are so narrow-minded and blind that they cannot see. You are correct, friend, that it is their loss. Keep a smile on your face when you are stupidly treated unfairly for the color of your skin, because you have already won. Don't let bitterness take root. Beth
